Our latest signage project with Franklin Showroom, located at 533 Canal St., New York, NY 10013, takes a familiar street object and gives it a polished, branded identity.
We created a Signature Traffic Cone in crisp white, finished with reflective bands and the simple FRANKLIN wordmark near the base. The cone keeps its familiar shape but swaps the typical orange look for a clean all-white finish. Two reflective bands add a practical street-sign element, while the subtle FRANKLIN logo near the base keeps the branding minimal and understated.

When Everyday Utility Becomes Brand Identity
The Signature Traffic Cone works because it takes something ordinary and gives it a clear point of view. The all-white finish immediately separates it from the typical visual language of construction and street maintenance, while the reflective bands preserve the cone's recognizable function. The small Franklin wordmark adds just enough branding to connect the object back to the showroom.
That approach feels especially fitting for Franklin. The showroom works with emerging brands and focuses on thoughtful positioning and brand development, so even a practical object can become part of the visual experience. Instead of hiding the utilitarian nature of the cone, the design embraces it and turns it into something distinctive.
