Our latest signage project with byChae, located at 222 Newbury St, Boston, MA 02116, brings a clean and modern touch to the brand’s first brick-and-mortar café.
We created a Brushed Stainless Steel A-Frame Sidewalk Sign that pairs a sleek metallic finish with simple white typography. One side features a large “byChae” logo centered on the panel, while the bottom includes “Monday–Saturday” and “Sunday” hours, making the sign both stylish and useful for customers passing by.

From a Matcha Truck to Newbury Street
byChae began as a mobile matcha business and quickly became known around Boston for its specialty matcha drinks and popular pop-ups. Founded by David Chae, the brand has worked with major brands and universities while building a strong following through its events. In 2026, byChae took the next step with a brick-and-mortar café at 222 Newbury Street in Boston’s Back Bay.

A Helpful Sign for the Café Crowd
The opposite side combines branding with practical information. The “We’re open” message sits at the top, followed by a short description of byChae’s story as a modern café that grew from a mobile trailer serving handcrafted matcha and building community along the way. The message ends with “Welcome to byChae,” giving the sign a warm and personal feel while introducing new visitors to the brand.
