At Signs and Mirrors, we’re thrilled to welcome Under Your Skin, a Swedish skincare brand founded by mother-daughter duo Lovisa and Christina, to New York City! Today, November 11, 2024, marks their official U.S. launch, and they’ve chosen one of our favorite coffee shops, Do Not Feed Alligators, in the west village for their two day pop-up, running on November 1 and 2. Known for products crafted with natural ingredients and a commitment to the environment, Under Your Skin brings their passion for wellness to "Cafe U.Y.S" with a warm, Scandinavian touch.
Where Science Meets Nature – A Commitment to Pure Ingredients
Under Your Skin was born from Lovisa’s journey to find gentle skincare solutions after dealing with hormonal imbalances. Inspired by Sweden’s untouched landscapes, Lovisa and Christina decided to create products that nourish the skin without harsh chemicals. Their collection has since become one of Sweden’s fastest-growing beauty brands, and their U.S. arrival signals an exciting new chapter in their mission to change the way we think about skincare.
A A-Frame Sidewalk Sign That Reflects Swedish Elegance
We worked with Under Your Skin to craft a beautiful A-frame sidewalk sign made out of a single sheet of stainless steel for their pop-up that perfectly mirrors their minimal, eco-conscious aesthetic. The sign features their brand logo prominently displayed on both sides in the center with white lettering, “Under Your Skin”. It serves as a reminder to the brand's commitment to quality, sustainability, and beauty.
Inherent in their brand name, Under Your Skin captures the interest of passersby to reflect on what ingredients and topicals customers place on their body. We couldn't be more proud to work with a eco-conscious and mission-aligned brand like U.Y.S.
What to Expect at the Pop-Up
