Our latest sign project with Seconds, located at 174 Bogart Street, #204, Brooklyn, NY, was all about translating thoughtful curation into a refined street presence.
We created a Blue Transparent Acrylic A-Frame Sidewalk Sign designed to be both eye-catching and understated. The front features the Seconds logo centered, with “Vintage Furniture & Objects” clearly stating what the shop offers, and “@seconds.nyc” placed at the bottom to invite connection beyond the street. The blue transparency gives the sign a light, modern feel while blending effortlessly into its surroundings.
The reverse side of the A-frame adds another layer of personality. It features different typographic treatments of “Seconds,” including their signature “s” logo, creating visual interest without feeling busy. Once again, “@seconds.nyc” and “Vintage Furniture & Objects” ground the design, making sure the brand is clear from every angle. It’s a subtle detail that adds depth and character.

Objects That Last, A Sign That Belongs
Seconds is more than a vintage furniture store, it’s a space built on intention. Their collection focuses on pieces that feel lived-in, loved, and lasting. Rather than chasing trends, Seconds curates furniture and objects with history, texture, and quiet character.
We wanted the sidewalk sign to mirror that same philosophy. Simple, calm, and well-considered, the sign feels like an extension of the interior space. It’s the kind of design that doesn’t demand attention, but rewards those who notice it.

When Sign Sets the Tone
For many Brooklyn shops, a sidewalk sign is the first interaction someone has with a brand. It sets the tone before a customer ever steps inside. For Seconds, this A-frame sign invites curiosity rather than shouting for attention. It communicates confidence, clarity, and care, qualities that reflect the store’s approach to vintage furniture and objects.
Well-designed signage helps local businesses stand out in neighborhoods like East Williamsburg, where visual culture and craftsmanship matter.
