Our latest sidewalk sign project for St. Luke’s School at 487 Hudson Street, New York, NY 10014, brings the school’s identity to life through signage.
We created a Dark Blue Transparent Acrylic A-Frame Sidewalk Sign; on one side features the message “LEARNING WITH JOY. LEADING WITH HEART.” in clean white lettering, with a subtle school emblem behind it. The other side welcomes visitors with “Welcome to ST. LUKE’S SCHOOL” alongside a large white horse illustration framed by a circular detail.

A School Rooted in Community
Located in the West Village of Lower Manhattan, St. Luke’s School is an independent day school serving students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 8. Its mission centers on curiosity, confidence, courage, and creating a strong sense of belonging within the school community.

A Sign That Feels Welcoming
The dark blue transparent acrylic gives the sign a distinctive presence while allowing some of the surrounding environment to show through. White typography creates strong contrast, making the messages easy to notice while keeping the overall design clean. The combination of the school’s statement, emblem, and illustrated horse gives each side its own character while keeping the St. Luke’s identity consistent.
